There are just a few simple steps to listing an item for sale. Please refer to the image below for screenshots of the example.
First, you need to identify your item, then locate it in the database. Use search or ask for help in the Discuss forums if you have trouble. On the page of the item listing, scroll to the bottom and click on the [$ Sell Item] button.
The "List item for sale" window will pop up. In the image below, I have indicated in red what information to provide:
Please provide an accurate condition, using the drop down menu.
Next, enter the price (before shipping). The size is also a drop down menu, and reflects the sizes listed in the item description. If your size is not listed, please contact us and we will be sure to add it! If you list a size different than shown on tag, please be sure to explain why it is not TTS (true to size) in the Comments section.
Because you do not have to take your own photos and upload them, we have simplified the listing process! But this makes the Condition and the Comments sections very important to the buyers. Therefore we have some recommendations on what sorts of information to provide to reduce returns or refunds. First, use the Comments section to indicate why the item is considered the condition you have listed, and whether or not you are the first owner. Thoroughly list all stains, defects, storage environment (presence of smoking and pets), prior methods of washing and drying (if known), and if you need to charge more than exact paypal shipping. When finished, click on [List it]. The item page will now list your item at the bottom left.
When a buyer searches using a keyword in the item description (i.e. "zebra"), the search results show the sizes of any keyword-matching items listed for sale. This is how buyers will locate your items in the size they need.
